• Your email address, if you provide it to join the early-access list.
• Survey responses you submit.
• Website usage and analytics information.

The MyWeightPath app

If you create an account in the app, we process the email address you sign up with, together with what you tell the app and what you record in it:

• When you set up a program: age, sex, height, current weight, goal weight, activity level, exercise frequency, sugary-drink habits, late-night snack habits, fast-food habits, diet pattern, and the area you say you find hardest to change.
• While a program runs: daily check-ins, weight measurements, weekly review ratings, and daily experiment responses.
• The timezone recorded when you start a program, which is what lets the app treat a program day as a calendar day where you are.

We also process any other information you voluntarily provide to us.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate and improve MyWeightPath.
• To understand interest in the service.
• To provide early-access communications.
• To measure website performance.
• To prevent abuse and fraud.

3. Health and Wellness Information

The weights, habits, and daily records described in section 1 are wellness information. We treat this information as sensitive. We use it to build and adapt your plan and to show you your own progress.

MyWeightPath is a general wellness service. We do not claim to be a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and we do not claim any medical-data certification.

4. Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand how the website is used. These tools can collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring pages, and interaction events. This helps us measure interest and improve the experience.

On this website we use PostHog for product analytics and the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. Each is switched on through a configuration setting, and neither runs when that setting is absent.

Those are website tools. The MyWeightPath app carries no third-party analytics or advertising software; the information it handles is the program information described in section 1.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site working correctly, remember preferences, and support analytics. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

6. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as required by applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete or anonymise it.

7. Data Sharing

We share information with service providers only where necessary to operate MyWeightPath — for example hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, and analytics. These providers may process information only on our instructions.

Accounts and program information are held with Supabase, which provides the authentication and database services behind the website and the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

8. Your Choices

• You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
• You can delete your account directly in the MyWeightPath app, from Profile then Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and its associated program data, including check-ins, weight records, reports, and Daily Experiment history. This cannot be undone.
• If your account has protected commerce or transaction history that cannot be deleted automatically, or if you would rather ask us to access or correct information we hold about you, email support@getmyweightpath.com.
• You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

MyWeightPath is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. International Users

MyWeightPath may be accessed from outside the country in which it is operated. If you use the service, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which may have different data-protection rules than your own.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. When we do, we will update this page. Continued use of MyWeightPath after an update means you accept the revised policy.
